Mobility work is not as sexy as a deep squat or a massive snatch...
For most of us mobility work seems to take a back seat to strength and mono structural activities. As athletes we see the external benefits of our training as sweat puddles on the floor, data on the board and callused hands.
Mobility work is very much internal and personal. Very rarely do we reflect on how the internal work correlates to external force and positioning. If we are as KStar from mobilitywod.com says "supple leopards" we will maintain strong positioning in our movements which translates to stronger lifts, reduced injury and sexy movements.
Get down on the floor get out the roller, lacross balls or even a rolling pin and focus on 2 major muscles for 2 minutes, every day. Play around to loosen up those tight muscles that are holding you back.
