TRX Suspension Training: Make Your Body Your Machine

This is the second week in our April TRX circuit series.  This week we continued with our acceleration and deceleration drills, added a few new exercises and some quick 30 second cardio pieces to make this workout a metabolic burn.

Warm up:


Squat
Row

Hip hinge

Round one:

TRX Squat
+ Sprinter’s start x 2
15 reps
+ 10 reps ea. x 2
TRX mid row
+ TRX Chest press x 2
15 reps
+ 15 reps x 2
TRX Superman’s
15 reps
Skip rope
30 seconds
Recovery
1 minute

Round two:
TRX Front Squat
+ TRX Single leg squat x 2
15 reps
+ 10 reps ea x 2
TRX Biceps curl
+ TRX Grappler pull x 2
15 reps
+ 10 reps x 2
TRX Standing roll
+ TRX triceps press x 2
15 reps
+ 10 reps x 2
Speed skaters
30 seconds
Recovery
1 minute

Round three:
TRX Atomic pushups 
+ TRX Power pulls
10 reps
+ 5 reps x 2
TRX Suspended lunges  
15 reps each
Sumo squats
30 seconds
Recovery
1 minute

Cool down/stretch:
TRX lower back stretch
TRX chest stretch
TRX long torso twist
TRX figure four stretch
